Shepherd grabs another mini stock victory

Doug Shepherd passed Tina Bell with eight laps remaining to win the Mini Stock feature. Bell held on to take second. Gary Spiller was third followed by Steve Roark and Joe Humphrey. That race featured four leaders and three lead changes. Eventually it was settled when Shepherd powered inside of Bell in turn three on lap 13 of the 20-lap event. The win was the third of the night for Shepherd, who also won his heat race and the Mini Stock Trophy Dash. The race was stopped for several minutes following a lap seven crash involving Kira Holder and Zach Boitnott. Holder took the brunt of the impact and her car had to be towed off the track.
