Mike Moshier Classic this Saturday August 29th
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Both Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods run for $1,000 to win this Saturday, Aug. 29 at Bakersfield Speedway’s Mike Moser Classic.
The event will be the last one called by the long-time track announcer before he moves out of state.
The Modified feature is a 2016 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. There will be a 10-minute mandatory pit stop on the frontstretch halfway through the 50-lapper.
No entry fee will be charged for the draw/redraw show. A minimum of $100 will be paid to start the Modified feature and $75 to start the Northern SportMod main.
All applicable IMCA points will be awarded. Western Pro Stocks, American Stocks and Mini Stocks will also be in action.
Gates open at 2 p.m., the grandstand opens at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m.
Spectator admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and military, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for five and under. Pit passes are $45 for non members and $35 for members.
