Bennett claims first IMCA Modified victory

Bret Bennett passed Chad Reichenbach for the lead on Lap 6, and then demonstrated his grasp of getting around the third-mile clay oval quicker than everyone else, winning the 25-lap race by five-car lengths. Bernal uses outside wall to win Sprint Car feature race

Running the final feature e of the night provided plenty of side by side racing on the 1/3 mile high banked clay oval. GARDNER STILL #1 AFTER STOP IN BAKERSFIELD

Defending Honda USAC Western Midget Champion Ronnie Gardner of Norco, Calif. picked up right where he left off in 2014 by winning the 2015 series opener Saturday night at Bakersfield Speedway.
