70th Season Opener in the Books

BY STEPHEN LYNCH For The Californian Bakersfield Speedway kicked off its 70th season of racing on Saturday night with a full schedule of non-stop action. Five divisions of cars took to the high-banked, third-mile, clay oval, entertaining the packed grandstands with lots of side-by-side competition and a couple of thrilling finishes. Opening Night 2015 This Saturday March 7th

Open Practice Continues Today

Open practice will continue today Sunday March 1st. We are getting what little water is on the track from the rain last night and we will be ready to go. Pit gates open at 11am with practice running from 12 noon to dusk. All pit passes sold last night will be honored today for re-entry today. Any new pit passes will be $35 per person. Grandstands are free to watch

Open Practice Night

2015 open practice night is scheduled for Saturday Feb 28th. Practice is from 6pm to 10pm under the lights at the Bakersfield Speedway. The night is open to all cars to practice (no mini dwarfs) Pit passes are $35 per person entering the pits and the grandstands are free to watch.

Registration Day 2015

2015 Race season registration is set for Saturday Feb 28th. Registration will be from 10am to 1pm at the front concession stand area of the race track. 2015 memberships, reserved parking stalls and reserved car numbers will be available along with licenses for all IMCA divisions. 2015 REGISTRATION FLYER

2014 Awards Banquet

The Awards Banquet for the 2014 race season is now set. Make plans to attend Saturday February 21st  at the Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace. Doors open at 11am with food served at 12 noon. Modifieds, SportMods, Hobby Stocks, American Stocks, Mini Stocks and Mini Dwarfs will be honored at the event.
