Open Practice Postponed until 12noon Sunday
We will continue open practice tomorrow at 12noon. Please keep your wristband for re-entry into the pits. We will run up to about 6pm.
Open Practice Night
2015 open practice night is scheduled for Saturday Feb 28th. Practice is from 6pm to 10pm under the lights at the Bakersfield Speedway. The night is open to all cars to practice (no mini dwarfs) Pit passes are $35 per person entering the pits and the grandstands are free to watch.
Registration Day 2015
2015 Race season registration is set for Saturday Feb 28th. Registration will be from 10am to 1pm at the front concession stand area of the race track. 2015 memberships, reserved parking stalls and reserved car numbers will be available along with licenses for all IMCA divisions. 2015 REGISTRATION FLYER
Color Obstacle Rush set for October 3rd

2014 Awards Banquet
The Awards Banquet for the 2014 race season is now set. Make plans to attend Saturday February 21st at the Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace. Doors open at 11am with food served at 12 noon. Modifieds, SportMods, Hobby Stocks, American Stocks, Mini Stocks and Mini Dwarfs will be honored at the event. 2015 Slate for 70th Season of the Bakersfield Speedway Revealed
2015 SLATE FOR 70TH SEASON OF BAKERSFIELD SPEEDWAY REVEALED BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA (December 25, 2014) – Promoter Scott Schweitzer has unveiled an ambitious 70th schedule for the historic Bakersfield Speedway, which will see the west’s fastest one-third mile clay oval host nearly 40 events. BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA (December 1, 2014) – RC Whitwell and Bobby Hogge, IV kept Bakersfield out of the Modified victory lane, while Ethan Dotson swept Sport Mod action, in Friday and Saturday’s inaugural Thanksgiving Thunder at Bakersfield Speedway.
