Bernal uses outside wall to win Sprint Car feature race

USAC 360 Sprints thunder into Bakersfield this Saturday night

This Saturday, April 4th, the popular USAC West Coast Sprint Cars will make their only appearance of the year at Bakersfield Speedway. Promoted by Scott Schweitzer, the fifth point race of the season will also showcase Hobby Stocks, Street Stocks, American Stocks, and Hard Tops. Sanders tops IMCA Modified field

  The popular IMCA Modifieds headlined the five division night with 17 cars checked in. Running the final feature e of the night provided plenty of side by side racing on the 1/3 mile high banked clay oval. Robert Sanders of Bakersfield took the impression win over Danny Lauer, Ethan Dotson, John Piker and Brad Pounds. GARDNER STILL #1 AFTER STOP IN BAKERSFIELD

Defending Honda USAC Western Midget Champion Ronnie Gardner of Norco, Calif. picked up right where he left off in 2014 by winning the 2015 series opener Saturday night at Bakersfield Speedway.
