Open practice for all divisions is scheduled for Saturday night February 26th. Practice time is 5 PM to 9 PM and is open to all cars (NO INFIELD TRACK CARS). Pit gates open at 4:30PM. Practice fee is $40.00 per person entering the pit area. Grandstands are free to watch. Pit concessions will be available, NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED IN PIT AREA.

Due to the upcoming weather forecast with continued high heat and now extreme unhealthy air quality, we are unfortunately cancelling the next two events scheduled in August. We don’t want to make any bad situations for fans, racers, crew or staff with the forecasted weather. August 14th and 21st will be cancelled with no make up dates. We will return back racing 100% August 28th for the Annual Mike Moshier Classic and run the remaining 2021 events as scheduled. [...]
This Friday night kicks off the 2021 California IMCA Speedweeks right here at the Bakersfield Speedway. The powerful week of racing saw huge car counts in 2020 and we are expecting the same for 2021. IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods and IMCA Stock cars will all be ready to claim round#1 of the series Friday night. Bakersfield Speedway officials have announced today that the 2020 Budweiser Nationals have been canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis. The historic one third-mile high banked clay oval’s biggest and most-famous event was scheduled for October 9th & 10th.
