Memorial services for Mike Moshier will be Saturday September 19th 2015. A church service will be held at 10:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 5500 Fruitvale Ave in Bakersfield, CA. Mike “The Race Doctor” Moshier

With a heavy heart we are saddened to report that today we lost a close member of our Bakersfield Speedway family. Longtime announcer Mike Moshier, known by all as “The Race Doctor” has lost his battle with cancer. Mike is a huge part of our Speedway family and his presence will be greatly missed by all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.

Spainhoward gets first Speedway win on big emotional night

BY MIKE GRIFFITH mgriffith@bakersfield.com Bakersfield Speedway pretty much knew every night was Mike Moshier night as he kept them abreast of the racing action with his down-home style of announcing. On Saturday night, Bakersfield Mayor Harvey Hall made it official by proclaiming Aug. 29 as Mike Moshier Day. Moshier is battling cancer and is leaving for Arizona Sunday to receive treatment. Mike Moshier Classic this Saturday August 29th

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Both Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods run for $1,000 to win this Saturday, Aug. 29 at Bakersfield Speedway’s Mike Moser Classic. Laney wins third IMCA Mod feature at Bakersfield speedway
