Affective immediately, the Mini Dwarf shock rule will now be as follows: Afco Quarter Midget Shocks allowed at the Bakersfield Speedway. All other aftermarket shock must be approved before use. It was our intention to help try and keep the cost of racing down by limiting the division to a stock shock and the prior rule. Pounds tops IMCA Modifieds again at Bakersfield Speedway

Brad Pounds raced to his second IMCA Modified victory of the year Saturday night at Bakersfield Speedway. Pounds, who started sixth, took the lead 10 laps into the 30-lap feature and finished 1.2 seconds ahead of Robby Sawyer on the third-mile clay oval. Pounds joins Ethan Dotson as the second repeat winner this season.   Dotson was third, followed by Bret Bennett and Rob Sanders.
