Pounds tops IMCA Modifieds again at Bakersfield Speedway

Brad Pounds raced to his second IMCA Modified victory of the year Saturday night at Bakersfield Speedway. Pounds, who started sixth, took the lead 10 laps into the 30-lap feature and finished 1.2 seconds ahead of Robby Sawyer on the third-mile clay oval. Gardner sprints to win at Bakersfield Speedway

Damion Gardner of Concord showed the fans at Bakersfield Speedway on Saturday night why he is a five-time USAC/CRA Sprint Car champion. Gardner took the lead from Condo Williams on the 14th lap and led the rest of the way to win the 30-lap feature at Bakersfield Speedway.
