Dotson tops IMCA Modified field Saturday night
Steven Johnson raced to an IMCA Stock Car victory on Saturday night at Bakersfield Speedway.
Johnson, last year’s champion, bounced back from last place finish in the first race of the season. Devan Jones was second and Troy Patee third.
Tyler Johnson won the American Stock feature, becoming the third different winner in as many races. Brandon Ratcliff was second and Cody Johnson third.
In IMCA Modified action, Ethan Dotson raced to his second win of the season. Scott Pounds was second, followed by Cody Laney and Robby Sawyer.
Loni Spiller, who won the championship last season, raced to her first win of the season in the Mini Stock feature, making it three different winners in three races.
Misty Warren, who won the last race, was second with Craig Moody third.
Bobby Courtney won the Bakersfield Hard Top feature. Justin Yadon was second and Marc McCaslin third.
