Scheduled Events Postponed
First and foremost I would to say thank you to everyone for the overwhelming support of the O’Neil family. Your kind remarks and prayers have brought comfort to the family in this troubled time. I would also like to thank you for the well wishes for the race track. I’m really proud to be a part of the racing community and the continued offerings of help and support is helping us get back on our feet.
In remembrance of Steve O’Neil, the Bakersfield Speedway will be going dark and postpone the scheduled events for Saturday night August 17th. We are currently working on making sure of non conflicting dates with other surrounding race tracks to reschedule the postponed events. This information will be available as soon as we finalize it and will be posted on our website.
A “Steve O’Neil Memorial Fund” has been established for anyone who wishes to make a donation to the O’Neil Family. Any Kern Schools Federal Credit Union Branch Account # 34154. Any and all donations to this account will go directly to the O’Neil family.
We will be continuing to pray for everyone.
